The Australian Coat of Arms: school holiday program

Mon, July 11, 2011
  • Events

Visit the Museum of Australian Democracy in the July school holidays. Make your own Coat of Arms, meet the Serjeant-at-Arms and go on a treasure hunt through the museum.

You’ll learn some fascinating facts about Coats of Arms and their part in democracy.

You might even uncover the mystery of why the emu and the kangaroo are supporting the Australian Coat of Arms.

This is a free family-friendly activity, suitable for kids aged 7 – 12 with their carers.

  • 18 – 22nd July (Monday – Friday)
  • 10:30am – 11:30am
  • Free after museum entry ($2 adults, $1 child/concession, $5 family)
  • Book early to avoid disappointment: phone (02) 6270 8215
