What do hats have to do with democracy?

Come along to the Museum of Australian Democracy in the October school holidays to answer this intriguing question at the ‘Hats Off to Democracy’ workshop.

Try on some costume hats and learn about the people who might have worn them – you can even make a special democracy hat of your own.

This is a free family-friendly activity, suitable for kids aged 5–12 with their carers.

  • 3–7 October (Monday – Friday)
  • 10:30 am–11:30 am
  • Free after museum entry ($2 adults, $1 child/concession, $5 family)
  • Book early to avoid disappointment: phone (02) 6270 8215
