Cold Light: In ConversationEvent
Don’t miss this lively evening of conversation with novelist Frank Moorhouse and playwright Alana Valentine about their recent collaboration, Cold Light, which premieres at The Street Theatre in March. Both Frank and Alana have been Museum of Australian Democracy Australian Prime Ministers Centre Fellows.
The play is an epic story of an extraordinary woman and her role in transforming modern Australia. Cold Light surveys the transformation of Australia from the post-WWII Menzies era to the mid-1970’s Whitlam government.
With scenes set in Old Parliament House, the iconic building sets the tone for Cold Light: In Conversation, a discussion about Frank’s remarkable historical research and Alana’s adaption of the novel.
