Research Library

Open Monday to Friday, 10 am—1 pm
Closed between Christmas and New Year and on all national and ACT public holidays.

Access to the research library outside these hours may be arranged for pre–booked groups and individuals. The research library is located on the main floor of the House of Representatives wing, past the Speaker’s Suite.

Reference Service

Inquiries about Australia’s prime ministers, general Australian political history or the history of Old Parliament House can be directed to our free reference inquiry service. We can be contacted in person or by mail, fax, email and phone. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 10 working days of receipt.

Exhibition

The Prime Ministers of Australia exhibition is open daily, 9 am–5 pm (excluding Christmas Day).

The exhibition is located in the main exhibition precinct, just behind Kings Hall.
