Free tours of the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House are a great way to enhance your visit and hear stories of the House. We also have a variety of self-guided tours and activities for kids and families.
Guided tours (30 minutes)
Join a guide to explore how Australian democracy is revealed and explained by Old Parliament House - the building, spaces, objects and stories. Tours start at 9:30 am, 10:30 am, 11:30am, 1:30 pm, 2:30pm and 3:30 pm. Free after entry.
CABINET-IN-CONFIDENCE In the Cabinet Room (25 minutes)
Cabinet-in-Confidence takes you inside the Cabinet Room at a time of national leadership. Be immersed in a multimedia experience that brings to life historical issues faced by Cabinet Ministers. Tours start at 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 2.00pm, 3:00pm and 4:00pm. Free after entry.
Self Guided Tours
Whispers in the corridors…colourful characters share secrets about life at Provisional Parliament House. Pick up an easy to use iPod Touch from reception. Also available in Mandarin, Korean and German. Free after entry.
MoADventure Trail
