‘Wile E Coyote’ had no luck in his pursuit of the ‘Road Runner’: despite investing in countless (malfunctioning) Acme products, he inevitably ended up squashed, crushed or suffering some other near-fatal mishap. MAGA’s ‘Conservative Launcher’, complete with its misdirected Trump head, looked to be yet another catastrophic failure, with a victory for the centre-left Liberal Party over the right-leaning Conservative Party in the April Canadian elections.
