The Nuclear Fairy

A six-panel comic featuring a person talking to the Nuclear fairy, implying that nuclear power is a fairy tale.

In a major policy announcement Opposition Leader Peter Dutton proposed to build, if he was elected, new nuclear energy reactors on the sites of seven former or existing coal-fired power stations. He claimed the first of these could be online by 2037. Like Judy Horacek’s nuclear fairy, Dutton avoided questions about where nuclear waste would be stored and how the communities near the plants would be protected.
