The First Nations Advisory Committee (FNAC) was established as part of the Centenary of Old Parliament House programming. The Committee provides expert guidance on projects and programming to reflect First Nations perspectives and experiences, including the impact of Australia's democracy on First Nations peoples.

Members of the FNAC were appointed by the Board in August 2025 and will serve until December 2027. The Hon Warren Snowdon is the Board representative on the Committee.

The Committee is governed by a Terms of Reference.

The FNAC have appointed senior Ngambri-Ngunnawal custodian of the Canberra region, Mr Paul Girrawah House, as a cultural advisor to the committee.
