President Trump hosted Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the White House in February. The Oval Office meeting, ostensibly held to discuss US military support for Ukraine and a mineral resources agreement between the two countries, quickly deteriorated into an acrimonious confrontation on live TV as Zelenskyy was attacked by both president and vice-president.
