Peter Broelman
In February 2024 former Prime Minister Scott Morrison resigned as the Member for Cook after 16 years in parliament. Morrison’s legacy, including his four years as Prime Minister, was much discussed at the time. Peter Broelman was one of many cartoonists to focus on Morrison’s 2022 ‘five ministries’ scandal: between March 2020 and May 2021 the Prime Minister was also sworn in as the Ministers for Health, Finance, Treasury, Home Affairs and Industry, Science, Energy and Resources - without the knowledge of the public or even most of his own government.
