TV Shows to Come out of the Writers' Strike

From May to September 2023 the Writers Guild of America went on strike. It halted film and television production both in the United States and overseas. Even workers in Australia were affected, including actors, extras, crew and caterers. The strike focused on conditions for screenwriters, adequate compensation for writers from streaming services and the potential threat of AI to writers’ jobs. Andrew Weldon imagines some possible television shows that could be produced without the input of professional writers.
