Biden Ain't Going Anywhere
Greg 'Smithy' Smith
In 2020, at age 78, Joe Biden was the oldest person to be inaugurated US president. Despite pressure on the president to withdraw from the race in May, from his opponent Donald Trump as well as from fellow Democrats, Biden was steadfast in his goal to win another term in office. If successful, he would have been 82 when sworn in for a second term. After Biden eventually pulled out of the race, Trump, now 78 himself, became the oldest candidate ever to seek the office of president.
