Celebrate NAIDOC Week by joining Boon Wurrung and Wamba Wamba Elder Aunty Fay Muir, and Sue Lawson, as they read from their latest collaboration, Always Was, Always Will Be, in this special digital event for students.
During the session students will hear a selection of stories from the book, consider why these pieces of history are so important, and gain insight into Sue and Aunty Fay's writing process.
Always Was, Always Will Be takes a closer look at some of the iconic First Peoples protest movements of the last 200 years, celebrating the strength, wisdom, and bravery of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people defending their land and asserting their right to self-determination through history.
MoAD Learning is delighted to bring these engaging digital experiences to classrooms, fostering a love of learning and cultivating the next generation of civically minded young people.
