Join the Henry Parkes Foundation and keynote speaker, Barrie Cassidy, at Old Parliament House for a conversation on democracy in action in 2024.

Chair of the Board of Old Parliament House, Mr Cassidy is one of Australia's most experienced political correspondents and analysts. He was the creator of the ABC's Insiders, a program he hosted for 18 years, he is also a renowned author and commentator.

The Henry Parkes Foundation was set up in honour of Sir Henry Parkes at the instigation of his descendants and others on the centenary of his death. The Foundation's aim is to carry forward Parkes' work in maintaining Australia as a just and egalitarian democratic society.

This free event is in-person in the Members' Dining Rooms (entry via Queen Victoria Terrace), or accessible for viewing via live-stream. Bookings are essential.
