First Dog on the Moon
‘Socialism’ has had various meanings since the term first entered the English language around 1830. It is commonly understood to refer to the economic and political systems, based on public ownership, espoused by communist thinkers such as Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin. Here First Dog on the Moon uses it to forge a link between the policies a Liberal prime minister applied to deal with the pandemic and the founding fathers of communism.
