Abstract Zeneca

A doctor looks at a syringe saying, 'Whoops! This is the "modernart" vaccine'. A man is on the doctor's bed. His face is replaced by 'modern art'.

The Oxford English Dictionary named ‘vax’ its word of the year, reflecting the dominance of COVID-19 vaccination as a conversation topic. The pandemic’s new lexicon also includes previously niche pharmaceutical brand names such as Moderna. Just as Australians got used to the new lingo, AstraZeneca was formally renamed ‘Vaxzevria’ in August.
