Cyber Attack

A four-panel comic in which a person in military uniform sits in front of a computer and is on the phone joking about hacking someone's computer. Text at the top reads, 'China. We don't always see eye to eye but we're more or less friends, aren't we? Aren't we? How then can we make sense of all of these full-on, state backed cyberattacks?'

In March US and British officials accused China of being behind cyber attacks that affected millions of people worldwide, including politicians, journalists and critics of Beijing. Both nations blamed the hackers known as Advanced Persistent Threat Group 31, which according to the US Justice Department is run by China’s Ministry of State Security. Andrew Weldon uses the kind of good-natured tone shared between friends to perhaps suggest the relationship is not so friendly.
