Nordacious
Nordacious (James Hillier) is a Brisbane-based visual artist known for his retro, pop art–inspired portraits that blend pop culture with progressive politics. He has had three solo exhibitions, in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, and his work has been featured internationally, including on billboards in New York's Times Square, at the COP26 Climate Conference and in three Behind The Lines exhibitions at the Museum of Australian Democracy (2021, 2022 and 2023). In 2024 his illustrations lit up Old Parliament House for the Enlighten Festival. Nordacious has collaborated with high-profile names such as Elton John and Britney Spears, with his artwork featured on their limited-edition single cover of 'Hold Me Closer'.
