Australia is one of the most environmentally diverse places in the world.
Plants, animals, weather and the landscape work together to form a bubble of life. This is called an ecosystem. Biodiversity means that there are lots of different plants, animals and bacteria. This variety keeps ecosystems strong and healthy.
