Larry Brandy in PlayUP

These school holidays in PlayUP, join Wiradjuri man Larry Brandy in a hands-on Aboriginal storytelling activity.

Children will learn about traditional Wiradjuri culture as they become kangaroos, emus and hunters. Larry uses animal masks and real artefacts to involve participants in the performance. 

This is a free, drop in, family friendly event.

PlayUP is wheelchair accessible.

There is a baby change facility and an all gender bathroom accessible from the exhibition.

There is an all gender accessible bathroom and parents room available via the corridor outside PlayUP.

There is a screen at the entrance of the exhibition with changing colours in a hallway with dim lights. Some walls in the exhibition feature bright coloured wallpaper and artwork. Music plays in the first room of the exhibition space. The last room in the exhibition has motion activated sound pods that may play concurrently.

There is an AUSLAN interpreted screen with closed captioning.

Seating for both adults and children is available in all rooms.
