3–4 Hours of the Day

Created as part of a series of graphic recordings of the All Hands on Deck symposium, held at the University of Technology Sydney in July 2023, Sam Wallman’s cartoon gets to the heart of a sobering statistic. For the average Australian, a significant portion of the workday is spent ensuring that they continue to have a roof over their head, with other aspirational goals seemingly out of reach.
